Sigur Rós is currently hosting The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment, in which 12 filmmakers create videos inspired by the band’s new album, Valtari.
The Film Experiment, which collects 17 official and fan-created short films, will be screened worldwide on the weekend of Friday, Dec. 7, to Sunday, Dec. 9. Los Angeles-based Sigur Rós fans will have the opportunity to see the films on the big screen at the Downtown Independent on Sunday, Dec. 9, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available now via Cinema Purgatorio for $12.00 each.
The videos can also be viewed on the Sigur Rós website, with the last four to be released on Nov. 5, Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and Dec. 17. Click below to see The Valtari Mystery Film Experiment on the big screen in December!
