Here’s to another great run of shows coming to Los Angeles this week! My Morning Jacket returns to play three consecutive shows at the Wiltern on Tuesday, Sept. 11 (with Portugal. The Man); Wednesday, Sept. 12 (with Iron & Wine); and Thursday, Sept. 13 (with Shabazz Palaces). Known as the Spontaneous Curation Series, this tour invites fans to help curate the shows’ set lists via My Morning Jacket’s Twitter.
And we’re giving our readers the chance to attend the show of their choice with a ticket contest! To enter to win a pair of tickets to the show of your choice, email your full name, contact info, and the show you would like to attend (or two dates, or all three!) to contest@thescenestar.com by Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. You can still buy tickets to all of the My Morning Jacket shows at the Wiltern via Live Nation for $46.00 a ticket plus service fees. One-dollar of every ticket from the Los Angeles shows will go to charities Inner-City Arts, My Friend’s Place, and Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
