One of our favorite artists celebrates a birthday today! Steven Patrick Morrissey celebrates 53 years of life today Scenestar readers. The former Smiths frontman and current solo artist will be celebrating his birth with a local show when Morrissey plays at the Valley View Casino Center tonight, Tuesday, May 22 in San Diego. Other dates within driving distance include a date at Rabobank Theatre in Bakersfield on Friday, May 25 or in Stockton on Saturday, May 26 at Bob Hope Theatre. with opener Kristeen Young. If you feel like staying local to celebrate, local cover band Sweet and Tender Hooligans, will be performing live at the Mayan Theatre playing all your favorite Smiths and Morrissey hits.
