Another change has gone down recently to the Coachella 2012 lineup. Cat Power will no longer be performing at this year's festival in Indio. We last saw Cat Power last year in February at the Music Box but festival goers this year won't get the chance to see her at the Empire Polo Club. She has not released a statement as to why but Cat Power is a no go for this year at Coachella 2012.
It's not unusual for acts to drop from Coachella (Amy Winehouse, Cocteau Twins, Doves, Grace Jones, etc in past years) or be added (Beck, Kanye West, Madonna, M.I.A., Prince, etc) and the lineup is always subject to change. A lot can happen between now and April that's out of the festival's and artist's control so hold tight Scenestar readers! We'll keep you posted on any other major changes such as any adds or subtractions concerning the Coachella 2012 lineup or if anyone is added to replace Chan Marshall AKA Cat Power!
