Tickets to the 13th Annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival just went on sale on Friday but the big news of the day is regarding lodging. Taking place over two weekends in Indio, Calif., from Friday, April 13 – Sunday April 15 as well as Friday, April 20 – Sunday, April 22, ticket sales for 3-day passes are already being sold at a heavy volume but the first thing to sell out was tent camping for weekend #1!

Tent camping is no longer available for the first Coachella weekend ONLY as of today with car camping still being an option for both weekends. You MUST purchase a 3-day pass along with your camping pass, which cannot be purchased seperate as in previous years. There's still 3-day passes for both Coachella weekends as of press time until Friday, June 10 at 10 a.m. via Frontgate Tickets which can be either paid in full for $269.00 plus service fees or you can take advantage of their layaway option with 10% down and payments over the next 8 months. Any passes left after the end of the layaway period will go back on sale when the lineup is released for Coachella 2012 at a yet to be determined date.
