Winner of this year’s “Best Americana Album”, Mavis Staples will bring some Rhythm and Blues and her Gospel sound to the Satellite on Thursday, Mar. 3 in support of her award winning album, You Are Not Alone. Joining Mavis Staples with be opener, DJ Soft Touch. Mavis Staples will be appearing on Thursday’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on KCRW 89.9 fm at 10 a.m. before performing later on at 8 p.m. in Silverlake.
