Now that Coachella has been announced, there are some shows within reasonable road trip distance from Los Angeles popping up from artists playing the festival. One of the most intimate shows involve a big name band is from one of Saturday's acts, Animal Collective!

You can catch Animal Collective live at Henry Miller Library on Thursday, April 14 in Big Sur, CA. Besides Henry Miller Library, Animal Collective will be playing at the Kate Buchanan Room at Humboldt State University in Arcata on Monday, April 11, Mateel Communtity Center in Redway, Tuesday, April 12, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, Wednesday, April 13 and will be ending their tour of California on Saturday, April 16 at Coachella in Indio, CA. No other US dates have been announced.

Tickets to see Animal Collective at the Henry Miller Library go on sale soon with onsale details to be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at noon. Tickets for their other local headlining shows will be announced soon except for the Arcata date which is on sale NOW for $28.50.
