Caifanes Reunite To Play Festival Dates In 2011

If you're a fan of spanish rock, you better get ready for one of the biggest reunions EVER. The influencial Caifanes will be reuniting next year in April 2011. Yes, Caifanes, not Jaguares! As of now there are only two scheduled Caifanes dates on Saturday, April 9 at Festival Viva Latino in Mexico City, D.F. at Foro Sol and the second reunion appearance will take place here in Southern California in April in Indio, California. Where exactly? Take a guess Scenestar readers but for now we'll wait till the location is officially confirmed. For now, we'll be counting the days to one of the most anticipated rock en español reunions in years when Saul Hernandez and the rest of Caifanes get back together to play in 2011.

April 9th, 2011: Festival Viva Latino w/ Caifanes at Foro Sol (Mexico, D.F.)

April 15th, 2011: Coachella w/ Caifanes at Empire Polo Club (Indio, CA)

    Caifanes reunites for Vive Latino 2011 Festival and for the summer concert series in the US and Mexico. There will be surprises with former members reuniting at different stages of the tour. Alejandro Marcovich after much speculation will participate. What is more anticipated and now is being talked about is the second duo with Maná for 2012 in Celebration festivities of the Mayan Calendar spectacle, they played together in Unidos por La Paz more than decade ago. Now, Caifanes and Maná reunite in 2012 one more time for their native Mexico, people and indigenous roots. More info should follow shortly.
