UPDATE: It has been five years since Scottish band Idlewild last toured here in the U.S., and it looks like the wait is about to get longer. Due to guitarist Rod Jones’s broken collarbone, Idlewild will postpone their West Coast dates. We’re hoping dates will be rescheduled soon, so we can hear new album Post Electric Blues live, as well as the hits. We’ll keep you posted on when Idlewild reschedules their dates, but as of now, refunds are being issued through TicketWeb.

US tour – west coast cancelled
Hello everyone.
I’m really sorry to say that the west coast dates of our US tour have been cancelled. This is due to me breaking my collarbone in an unfortunate accident. I can only apologise to those of you who have waited for so long to see us back there only to have it cancelled at the last minute. Myself and the rest of the band are absolutely gutted that we won’t be able to do these shows at this time but I will not be able to play for at least another 3 weeks. Fingers are crossed that I can be back fit for the East coast shows and we will keep you posted about this.
I know this is a disappointment to some of you who have been patiently waiting for 5 years to see us there and it is a feeling we share with you as a band.
Again I’d like to extend my sincere and heartfelt apologies and hope to see you some time in the near future.
Rod
