Bad news for those of you waiting for the Devo-lution to come to the West Coast! Currently on tour for their newest album Something for Everybody, Devo have posponed plans to play their scheduled shows on Friday, November 12 at Club Nokia and Saturday, November 13 at the Warfield. The postponement is due to a serious hand injury sustained by guitarist Bob Mothersbaugh. A glass shard sliced Mothersbaugh’s right thumb to the bone, severing a tendon which he had to have emergency surgery for. Bob Mothersbaugh is expected to make a full recovery after proper care and therapy.
Tickets for the Devo dates for Club Nokia and the Warfield via Ticketmaster will be honored for the rescheduled date in the Spring of 2011. We'll keep you posted Devo fans when the band is back at full strength and back on tour!
