Claudia Deheza Leaves School of Seven Bells

Claudia1Sad news from one of our favorite bands here at The Scenestar: Claudia Deheza, one of the twin sisters in School of Seven Bells, has left the group for personal reasons. She was missing at the recent EchoPlex show on Oct. 1 and did not play with the band for the rest of the tour. We now have an official confirmation of her departure from School of Seven Bells via the band’s Facebook. The two remaining members in the band are her sister, Alejandra Deheza, and Benjamin Curtis.

School of Seven Bells will continue to make music without Claudia, but she will be missed here at The Scenestar. Thanks for the memories, Claudia, and we hope to hear more new music from School of Seven Bells soon.

Hi everybody. We just wanted to let you all know that Claudia has left the band for personal reasons. In the meantime, we are excited to continue to write and tour as usual, and we’re very much looking forward to seeing you all at our upcoming shows.

    she hardly ever spoke a word in any live interview and seemed kind of seemed misplaced at times… wonder if she felt obsolete.

    Actually, have any of you ever looked at photos of the three of them? Claudia was totally into Ben who loves Alley. It’s pretty obvious if you look. I saw them play at a secret show in Williamsburg two weeks ago and you can tell from interacting with the band that Ben & Alley are still upset. I spoke to Alley after and she seemed so unhappy. 🙁 Ben just seemed really furious and packed up in a rush. Great show though.

I saw them play at a secret show in Williamsburg two weeks ago and you can tell from interacting with the band that Ben & Alley are still upset. I spoke to Alley after and she seemed so unhappy. 🙁 Ben just seemed really furious and packed up in a rush. Great show though.
