It’s not the first time they play at the Hollywood Bowl. If anything, it’s more accessible and accomodating to fans who missed out on the last two Los Angeles shows since they sold out so fast. If it was at the Wiltern, the show WOULD be awesome but then people would complain about not being able to get tickets for such a small venue because it sold out so fast. They were great the last time LCD Soundsystem played at the Hollywood Bowl.

Emmy, why the hell would they play the Wiltern? They just sold out the Palladium, which holds almost twice as many people.
I don’t have an issue with the playing the Bowl. I saw them open for Arcade Fire there, and they can certainly pull it off. My problem is with the prices! The LCD/Hot Chip bill is playing Milwaukee, and the top ticket price is $30.00. I really think the bowl tickets should be priced from $20-$60 if they’re hoping to sell out the place.
