It has been a long time—five years, to be exact—but Scottish band Idlewild is finally coming back to the U.S. Last month, lead singer Roddy Woomble wrote in a Facebook post that the band would embark on a short U.S. tour. And it could very well be a long time until Idlewild performs again, as Woomble writes, “It’s true that we’ll be taking some time away from the group after this year.”
In celebration of the 10-year anniversary of 100 Broken Windows as well as the release of Post Electric Blues, Idlewild will perform two nights at the Echo on Tuesday, Nov. 16, and Wednesday, Nov. 17. Tickets are available now via TicketWeb and are priced at $13 each.
The band also will perform at the Independent with L.A. locals The Happy Hollows on Thursday, Nov. 18. Tickets for that show will go on sale Friday, July 16, at noon.
