Just announced at 1 p.m. via Twitter by Los Angeles promoter FYF, One Day As a Lion will perform its first official shows this weekend in Los Angeles! You can see the musical project of Zach De La Rocha (of Rage Against the Machine) and Jon Theodore (of The Mars Volta) live in Pomona on Saturday, July 17, at 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 18, in Los Angeles at 3 p.m. The duo will make its festival debut at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan on July 31. Opening for both shows will be Vato Negro (featuring members of The Mars Volta).
Tickets to see One Day As a Lion will go on sale via Ticketweb on Wednesday, July 14, at noon. The location of both shows will be revealed to ticket holders the day of the show at 8 a.m. Tickets will be available at Fingerprints (for both shows), The Glass House Record Store (Pomona show only) and Origami Vinyl (Los Angeles show only).
