After reuniting and performing at the El Rey Theatre last year, The Vaselines will release a new album, Sex With an X, on Sept. 14 via Sub Pop. This is the band’s first album in 20 years, and you can hear a sample of the record by downloading single “I Hate the ’80s” on The Vaselines website. The band will tour in support of the new album, and dates have been scheduled in Mexico in October, so a U.S. tour in the fall seems likely. Stay tuned, Scenestar readers.
