Today, May 22, is Morrissey‘s 51st birthday, and there are a few events to help celebrate. The Smiths/Morrissey cover band Sweet and Tender Hooligans will perform at the Key Club tonight, with Die Die My Darling, a tribute to The Misfits. Sweet and Tender Hooligans will also perform on Sunday, May 23, at the House of Blues Anaheim with The Curse, a tribute to The Cure.
There also will be a celebration at the Hully Gully in Downey with Smiths/Morrissey cover band These Handsome Devils. For more information, visit the event’s Facebook page.
And the 14th annual Smiths/Morrissey convention will take place on Sunday, June 20, at the Music Box. Performing at the convention will be These Charming Men, a Smiths/Morrissey cover band from Ireland. Tickets for all events are on sale now. And The Scenestar wants to wish
