The Natural History Museum's March contribution to the First Friday series was headlined by Deertick. Music went from featured DJ, DJ Shortee, to resident DJ Them Jeans, as people ate, drank, danced and meandered about the African Mammal Hall. However, the focus amidst the collection of stuffed North American mammals in the opposite hall was Deertick. Following a hometown performance by Everest, Deertick had to workout a few sound issues, which the band did by playing a classic surf tune and a partial cover of Weird Al Yankovic's "Another One Rides the Bus." With the sound satisfied and a freshly finished beer, John McCauley and his cohorts launched into the set for a very excited crowd.
