Greek Theatre Announces 2010 Schedule

You can almost feel that summer is right around the corner when the Greek Theatre announces the shows it has booked for the summer season. The time is finally here, and today Nederlander Concerts will announce the shows scheduled for 2010! Courtesy of Los Angeles Times blog Pop Hiss, some announced Greek dates feature Scenestar-friendly artists, including Rodrigo y Gabriela on August 18, Serj Tankian on July 30, Jenny Lewis on August 15, Norah Jones on August 25 and Band of Horses on September 25, just to name a few. Included in the roster rollout are shows at the Gibson Amphitheatre, with the yearly inclusion of Scenestar favorite Vicente Fernandez!

The full lineup of shows at both venues is posted at www.pmcla.com. Tickets for these shows should be on sale soon via Ticketmaster, but you can purchase tickets in advance through Premiere Marquee Club. There is a show minimum you must buy, which can be combined with either venue to get tickets in advance, and you’re guaranteed to have first dibs at any show that gets added later in the year. As always, we’ll let you know when more of your favorite shows get added to the Greek Theatre schedule.

July 24th: The Go-Go’s at the Greek Theatre

July 30th: Serj Tankian with orchestra: Elect the Dead Symphony at the Greek Theatre

August 7th: Ringo Starr at the Greek Theatre
