UPDATE: If you would prefer to see The Swell Season at a more intimate venue than the Hollywood Bowl in July, have no fear. Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová have just scheduled two small concerts, at McCabe’s Guitar Shop on March 14 and at Largo on March 16. Tickets for both shows are $40 and all proceeds will go toward the purchase of a new truck for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. Tickets are on sale now by phone only. For Largo, call (310) 855-0350. For McCabe’s, call (310) 828-4497.
If you can’t attend either show, but would still like to donate to the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, you can do so at www.crowdrise.com/glenhansard.
Also, you can still see The Swell Season at the Hollywood Bowl on July 18.
