Tis the season Los Angeles! The Hollywood Bowl Summer Season is upon us, and we’re starting to hear the names of who’s going to play in 2010’s summer schedule. An extensive list of eclectic shows for the different tastes of Los Angeles’ concertgoing patrons has been released today for the Hollywood Bowl this summer.
With subscriptions scheduled to start today, it’s no surprise that the majority of shows that are scheduled to take place this summer are produced by the Hollywood Bowl. Femi Kuti and The Positive Force, Fool’s Gold, Goldfrapp, The Chemical Brothers, Diavolo and Dave Matthews Band are a few names who are scheduled so far. Scenestar favorite and Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor Gustavo Dudamel is set to make three appearances at the Hollywood Bowl, following his orchestral debut last year. Other big names set to play this year include Harry Connick Jr., Smokey Robinson and John Williams. Bugs Bunny will be returning, and other highlights include a production of Rent, a high-definition screening of Planet Earth and a Beatles celebration.
