English author Neil Gaiman is finally making an honest woman out of Amanda Palmer. Announced on Friday via his online journal, The Sandman creator had this news to share with the rest of the world:

The Dresden Dolls vocalist Amanda Palmer shared her reaction to the news via her Twitter on Saturday: morning. new daily ritual: look in mirror. think of the word "wife". feel terror. then ponder who the husband is. then feel unstoppable joy.

Congratulations to the happy couple on their upcoming nuptials and for sharing the news to their fans online. They are both currently in Los Angeles this weekend for the Golden Globes for Neil Gaiman's nomination for his novel turned animated film Coraline. Neil Gaiman will also be speaking at UCLA's Royce Hall on Thursday, February 4th. Click below to get your tickets today to congratulate him yourself!
