Happy New Year Scenestar readers! It's about a week into 2010 and we already have our first "secret" show of the New Year. Club Underground is having their first club night of the year with opener Sweaters along with headliner Hot Sauce Mentor. What you don't know is that Hot Sauce Mentor is an alias for the newly formed Everybody Was In The French Resistance…Now! Everybody Was In the French Resistance…Now consists of components of two of The Scenestar's favorite bands, Dyan Valdes of The Blood Arm and Eddie Argos of Art Brut. This is a warmup show before their official debut on Tuesday, February 9th at London's Dingwalls.
Tickets for the show aren't available in advance but you can get them at the door for $5.00 a ticket starting at 9pm tonight at The Echo with the band going on at 11pm. If you don't have plans for the night, this is your chance to catch the unofiicial debut of Everybody Was In The French Resistance…Now live at Club Underground!
