The Decemberists are back on Monday, October 19th at UCLA’s Royce Hall to unveil a special project, "Here Come The Waves: The Hazards Of Love Visualized". This is the Decemberists final American performance and they're making it extra special. The Decemberists will be collaborating with filmmakers Guilherme Marcondes, Julia Pott, Peter Sluszka & Santa Maria who have all created animation to accompany a section of the music that The Decemberists will perform the entire piece synchronized with the animation while also performing an additional set with older and newer Decemberists material.
For $37.50, some of the proceeds will be going towards the Grammy Foundation’s "Grammy In The Schools" music education program for high school students. Tickets for the Decemberists UCLA Royce Hall show that sold via presale today went quickly but you have another shot this Friday, September 18th at 10:00am on Ticketmaster.
