Back for its 5th year, MusiCares Map Fund will be hosting their annual benefit concert Friday, May 8th at Club Nokia. This year Anthony Keidis of The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be honored with the Stevie Ray Vaughan award for his charitable contributions towards helping recovering drug addicts.
WOW! what an amazing event..wish i could have attended. Anthony Keidis is an amazing man. I was happy just knowing the mars volta were to be there but had absolutely no idea chilli peppers were playing too. I really missed out. My only wish is that only appreciative people attended.
