Depeche Mode Announce North American Tour Dates & Album Details

Dm The long wait is over Depeche Mode fans. The band has announced their North American tour dates for their upcoming "Tour Of The Universe" today along with more Sounds Of The Universe album details. The album is set to drop in the UK April 20th and April 21st in the US. It will be available on standard CD, digital download, double vinyl LP, deluxe CD/DVD format and a special Deluxe Box Set with tons of exclusive material. Details on the different releases can be found on the SOTU site. "Wrong", the first single of their upcoming Sounds Of The Universe album, will be released April 6th in the UK, April 7th in the US with radio play beginning February 23rd.

Cities and dates for the group's 2009 North American concert tour are below. Depeche Mode's tour will have them making their first ever Hollywood Bowl performance. Tickets will be on-sale to the public on March 15th. Other dates on schedule will tentatively be on-sale March 13th. Most venues are TBA:

    That would be awesome if they played the Hollywood Bowl! They might do Staples again or maybe even Nokia but Hollywood Bowl would be a great change of pace. We already have them playing The Santa Barbara Bowl for their Santa Barbara date since there’s no other venue besides clubs on State street they can play there. We’re also sure that Paula is excited about Depeche Mode finally making up their Ft Lauderdale date in September.

We already have them playing The Santa Barbara Bowl for their Santa Barbara date since there’s no other venue besides clubs on State street they can play there. We’re also sure that Paula is excited about Depeche Mode finally making up their Ft Lauderdale date in September.
