These Are Powers will release new album All Aboard Future on CD and vinyl Feb. 17 via Dead Oceans Records. The release by the Brooklyn- and Chicago-based trio of Pat Noecker (ex Liars), Anna Barie and Bill Salas “marks a rejection of fear for the future,” says the band, who has been described as establishing “an MO of making very blunt, visceral rock/punk tropes feel like a vague out-of-body experience,” according to Pitchfork. Also, to show solidarity with the visual arts community, the band has invited 13 artists to help create the album artwork. You can check out the band on the These Are Powers MySpace.
