Travis’ sold-out performance at the Troubadour this past Tuesday had fans wondering if the band would be doing anything else while in Los Angeles. Well, it turns out the Scots are also in town for two other events.
First, the band will perform on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic program, which will air on Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Host Nic Harcourt, who is a friend and fan of the band, introduced Travis on stage at the intimate Troubadour show.
Travis will also appear on new Web series Rockville, CA, which can be viewed at TheWB.com. The scripted online program, currently filming at the Echo, is the new project of Josh Schwartz, creator of Gossip Girl and The OC. The series is set to air in 2009. Other bands performing on the show include Kaiser Chiefs, Frightened Rabbit, The Kooks, Lykke Li and White Lies.
