Deerhoof only just played the Avalon last month, but Satomi Matsuzaki and company return one last time for 2008. The band will play the Echoplex next Friday and The Scenestar would like to send a lucky reader to the show!
To enter the drawing, e-mail the name you would like on the guest list to TheScenestarContests@gmail.com. The deadline for entries is Monday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. Please put as the subject line “Deerhoof Contest.”
Deerhoof is touring in support of new album Offend Maggie, which is out on Kill Rock Stars. Tickets are still available for the show through Ticketweb and cost $15. Opening will be Experimental Dental School and Kit.
