Cancelled: Neil Young at Forum Oct. 30

UPDATE: Music legend Neil Young has cancelled his scheduled show tonight with Death Cab for Cutie and Everest. The concert was cancelled out of respect for a planned union picket involving the workers at the Forum, where the concert would have taken place, and the venue’s owner, Faithful Central Bible Church. “I am extremely disappointed to have to choose between satisfying my fans or backing my brothers and sisters of the [International Assn. of Theatrical Stage Employees],” Young said in a statement. Refunds will be given at point of purchase.

    so why schedule a date @ the forum in the first place?
    screw that venue. it sucks. they should have destroyed it once the kings & lakers left years ago.
    final note for the church in question: use some of that tax exempt ca$h of yours to pay your employees.
