Though it’s not out yet, it’s already on The Scenestar must-read list. Morrissey has announced that he plans to write an autobiography of his life, which will span his career in the music industry. No specifics were given on how much of the memoir is completed or when it will be released when Morrissey announced the news during a BBC Radio 2 interview. He did go on to explain, “So much crap is written about me, it’s hard to live with sometimes. It all gets burned down in history and becomes a part of your legacy.”
Morrissey also discussed his upcoming album, Year of Refusal, which is due in February. “It’s fantastically strong,” he said. “It’s very, very strong and it’s interesting for me after all these years, but it’s the strongest.”
