The Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde and James Walbourne will be at Amoeba Records in Hollywood next week! The two will perform an acoustic set, featuring songs from ninth studio album Break Up the Concrete, on Monday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. Though the album isn’t released until October 7 (the vinyl is released Sept. 23), if you pre-order the album at Amoeba, you will receive the CD booklet on the day of the instore to be signed.
And to be especially eco-friendly, Break Up the Concrete will have a limited run of packaging with handmade seed paper, which can be planted! All of the paper for this limited-run version and other non-plantable editions have been certified by the FSC, which is a not-for-profit organization that promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests.
