Call us skeptics, but with all the non-music related news that Lily Allen generates, it seems questionable that a second album is even in the works, let alone completed. But the fearless Ms. Allen is out to prove us wrong. Billboard is reporting that the album’s 10 tracks sound “lyrically confident,” despite her recent drunken appearance at the GQ Men of the Year Awards and subsequent altercation with Elton John.
The yet-to-be-titled album is slated for a Feb. 9 release, but let’s not be too quick to put that in our calendars. Depending on Internet leaks or unforeseen health problems (i.e. exhaustion), the release could easily change to accommodate schedules.
