Mercury Rev is currently gearing up for an extensive world tour in support of their seventh studio album, Snowflake Midnight, which will be released stateside Sept. 30. The nine-track album also has a companion album, Strange Attractor, which can be downloaded for FREE by joining the Mercury Rev mailing list, if you haven’t already.
After you download your free songs and get your hands on the new album, you can see the band perform live at the El Rey Theatre on Dec. 16. Mercury Rev will perform here with former Luna members Dean & Britta. Tickets for the show go on sale Saturday, Sept. 13, at 10 a.m. and cost $24.

And there’s more exciting news for Dean & Britta fans: The band’s first album, L’Avventura, will be released on the band’s label, Double Feature Records, on Sept. 2. A deluxe edition digi-pack will have three added tracks from the Sonic Souvenirs EP. L’Avventura also will be available on iTunes for the first time ever.
