UPDATE: KCRW has postponed its “A Sounds Eclectic Evening 7,” which was to take place on Sunday, October 12, at the Gibson Amphitheatre. According to the press release, the postponement is due to “logistical conflicts. The festival circuit, which was particularly robust this year, created a challenging environment for filling out a seven-band bill.”

“We’ve always had a high-standard for the bands we’ve invited to play this concert and changing the date to Fall—at the end of the summer festival season—proved to be a bigger hurdle than we were expecting,” said Nic Harcourt, KCRW Music Director and host of Morning Becomes Eclectic.

The radio station will instead focus on its KCRW Music Sessions, which are held at the Malibu Performing Arts Center.

Those who purchased tickets to A Sounds Eclectic Evening 7 will receive refunds from Ticketmaster and will be given the first chance to buy tickets to the newly rescheduled show.

I bet it was low ticket sales too. I know general sales weren’t open yet, but there were still a lot of good tickets left for members.
