Deerhoof will release new album Offend Maggie on October 7 via Kill Rock Stars, with the cover art designed by Japanese artist Tomoo Gokita. Also, a portion of album sales will go to a charity, which will be determined by fans. Fans can choose among Why Tuesday?, FAIR: Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting, Peace Action West, Z Magazine and Doctors Without Borders. And don’t forget that Deerhoof will perform at the Avalon on October 3, the first U.S. date for their upcoming tour. Tickets are available now on Ticketmaster and cost $15. Also performing that night will be Okay and The Happy Hollows.
