Manimal Vinyl Records is releasing Perfect As Cats: A Tribute to The Cure, featuring 32 tracks from 32 different artists, including Bat for Lashes, Jesu, The Dandy Warhols, Hecuba, blackblack and Army Navy.
The two-disc set won’t be released until October 28, but until then, you can get your fix at the Perfect As Cats MySpace. All proceeds from sales will go toward helping Invisible Children, a non-profit organization that works to “improve the quality of life for war-affected children by providing access to quality education, enhanced learning environments, and innovative economic opportunities for the economy.” You can do your part by contributing to this very good cause while listening to some very good music.
