The Scenestar is happy to announce that we have been invited to participate at the 9th Annual Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC).
This conference will take place in New York City July 8-12.
LAMC features panels, exhibitions, concerts, parties and art highlighting the best of Latin Alternative.
The Scenestar will be participating in the panel, “Blogueando: How Latino-Oriented and Indie Music Blogs and Bloggers are Helping Artists Connect With New Audiences.”
The best part of LAMC is the menu of artists that will also be participating in this conference: Julieta Venegas, Pilar Diaz (former lead singer of Los Abandoned), Miranda!, Emmanuel Horvilleur (Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas), Plastilina Mosh and many more.
We have to say that we are honored to be considered for this conference, taking into account how day by day our small staff takes time out of their work and social schedule to write about the bands that we love. So wish us happy travels. We’ve packed our Frizz Ease, iPod, tape recorder, camera and dancing shoes. Are we missing anything?
