Everyone reading this loves music, right? So by default, you love musicians. And what better way to show your support of local musicians than by turning out to support the Sweet Relief Benefit show at the Echo on Wednesday, April 16?
Local bands The Pity Party, Afternoons, The Franks and Karin Tatoyan will perform at the event. Other fun activities include The Good Neighbor Comedy Troop, who will serve as the evening’s MCs, while Bagavagabonds will be silk-screening T-shirts.
Doors open at 8pm, tickets are only $7 and all proceeds go to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, which assists musicians who are stricken with illness or disability and don’t have the health insurance most of us take for granted.
