UPDATE: After keeping a low profile since wrapping up 2005’s Surgery, The Warlocks are back and have announced a fairly comprehensive U.S. tour, which kicks off at the end of October. In anticipation of the band’s new album, Heavy Deavy Skull Lover, which will be released in October, they’re getting ready to hit the road to show off the new tunes and play some classics for both new and old fans. Looks like Los Angeles will need to wait until mid-November to check them out, but by that time, they should be hitting their groove and sound completely sublime.
Here’s the info from their official MySpace bulletin:
You believed and here it comes, we are excited to announced after a long break The Warlocks are coming to a town near you! Well not every town near you, but some of the big ones. We will announce the opening bands as soon as they are both confirmed.
