Sam Beam of Iron and Wine has extended his U.S. tour (as expected) and will perform in Los Angeles at the Orpheum Theatre on November 28. Tickets go on sale September 28 at 10am and will set you back $25 (plus service fees).

Iron and Wine’s new album, The Shepherd’s Dog, will be released next Tuesday, Sept. 25, via Sub Pop, which is offering the single “Boy With a Coin” as a free download.
“Boy With a Coin” is the new album’s first single and was released as a CD single July 10 with b-sides “Carried Home” and “Kingdom of the Animals.” Sub Pop has described Shepherd’s Dog as an album that “breathes” with “seductive rhythms [that] percolate and undulate.” Intrigued yet? We sure are!
