Well, it’s official. 2007 is the year of canceled gigs! But there’s good news and bad news this time! First, the bad news: The Pet Shop Boys have canceled their upcoming show at the Hollywood Bowl due to logistical issues.
The concert will not be rescheduled, but ticket holders can exchange their tickets for a Los Angeles Philharmonic performance or for a full refund. On the band’s Web site, Pet Shop Boys’ Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe apologized “for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.”
But the good news: Opening band Ladytron will still perform in Los Angeles! Since the band has already crossed the international dateline, they figure, the show must go on! Ladytron will perform September 27 at Hollywood and Highland. The show is all ages and … free!
