Klaxons to play Fonda in “Near Future”

Oh, those Klaxons sure are resilient! Shortly after Jamie Reynolds shattered his ankle—from leaping off stage at a performance in France—the band has resumed full-on touring duties, including a recently announced Los Angeles gig at the Henry Fonda on September 26. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, August 2, at 10am, and cost $17.50 each.

And considering the Klaxons sold out its Troubadour and El Rey shows, The Scenestar recommends getting your tickets early.

The Klaxons are currently on tour supporting debut album Myths of the Near Future, which is a nominee for the Nationwide Mercury Prize. The winner will be announced September 4.

    Damn. I missed them at El Rey and Coachella but I already got a ticket to see !!! (Chk Chk Chk) that same night! 🙁

    you can’t do the double gig on one night? well depending onthe venue and what time one band plays from the next…
    cheryl remember….. gran ronde to who else we went to go see that we sped through hollywood…

    Hmmm… double-gig? Well it is the perfect set of venues: Avalon & Henry Fonda — both within walking distance of each other. Klaxons show listed as 8pm and !!! is listed at 9:30pm <– if that were only true!

    give it a try, i know los angeles is a lot more stiffer with band times especially if they are all ages and curfew and shit.. hussle hussle and you might get to see both

    try it! i managed to get from one part of chicago to another from the kaiser chiefs over to art brut. maybe !!! will be running late? is there an opening act for !!! ? i say do it!
