For those of you going to Coachella 2026, there’s an exciting art installation you have to see while at the festival! “Motion Picture House – KID A MNESIA” is the movie and art installation by Radiohead that will make its debut at Coachella 2026 on Weekend 1 and continue into Weekend 2 of Coachella 2026 as “The Bunker.” You must sign up here at a scheduled time to experience The Bunker, which is a 75-minute large-format film made from thousands of fragments created by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood during the recording of Kid A and Amnesiac: sketches, paintings, collages, audio recordings, and handwritten notes.
Following Coachella 2026, the “Motion Picture House – KID A MNESIA” exhibit will go on a global tour for the rest of the year, with rumored cities that include Brooklyn, Chicago, Mexico City, San Francisco, and many more hosting the exhibit at local event spaces in those cities. As we previously announced, Goldenvoice will bring back Coachella to Indio, Calif., with Weekend 1 scheduled to take place from Friday, April 10, to Sunday, April 12, and Weekend 2 from Friday, April 17, to Sunday, April 19, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif. This year’s headliners include Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G.
Timed tickets/reservations for a timed slot for “The Bunker” can be secured via AXS using AXS Mobile ID to get in, and it does not include a festival pass to enter Coachella 2026 to experience it. It is free and an all-ages art installation. For fans unable to book a reservation, entry will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis via a stand-by line. You will need an AXS account to secure a timed ticket to The Bunker at Coachella 2026.
There will be five different time slots for each festival date. This includes Friday (2:00pm, 4:15pm, 6:30pm, 8:45pm, & 11:00 p.m PT), Saturday (2:00pm, 4:15pm, 6:30pm, 8:45pm, & 11:00 p.m PT), and Sunday (1:15pm, 3:30pm, 5:45pm, 8:00pm, & 10:15 p.m PT).
Door times are 30 minutes prior to screening.
Reservations will be held for 20 minutes after the door time, then released to standby guests.
Reservations will be prioritized, but entry is not guaranteed if arriving after the 20-minute grace period.
There will be a separate reservation queue that will bypass the standby queue for late-arriving reservation holders.
Once the bunker is at capacity, we will grant access on a one-in/one-out basis. Reservation holders for that showing will have priority, and then the standby line.
THE BUNKER EXHIBIT RULES:
No food or alcoholic beverages allowed inside
All patrons must exit the space immediately after the screening has finished
All patrons must exit through the south exit
Respect the exhibit and art pieces
No smoking
No bathrooms inside the venue
Photography and filming are prohibited in the venue (no spoilers)
Respect and be mindful of other patrons’ viewing experience
Currently, Coachella 2026 passes are on sale now on a waitlist basis via the festival website with tiered pricing that ranges from $649 each plus a $50 service fee for GA passes for Weekend 1 ($549 each plus a $50 service fee for GA passes for Weekend 2), starting at $779 each plus a $50 service fee for GA passes with a shuttle pass for Weekend 1 ($679 each plus a $50 service fee for GA passes with a shuttle pass for Weekend 2), and starting at $1,299 plus a $130 service fee for VIP passes for Weekend 1 ($1,199 plus a $130 service fee for VIP passes for Weekend 2).
