We finally know who's joining the Foo Fighters as they pay tribute to their bandmate, Taylor Hawkins! As we previously reported, the "Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert" will bring the band and special guests to The Kia Forum on Tuesday, September 27, for a benefit show where Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, and Rami Jaffee will come together with the Hawkins family to celebrate the life, music, and love of their husband, father, brother and bandmate at the Inglewood venue.
Joining the Foo Fighters will be Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Miley Cyrus, Omar Hakim, Joshua Homme, Joan Jett, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Alanis Morissette, Mark Ronson, Gene Simmons, Nikki Sixx, Chad Smith, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor, Jon Theodore, Wolfgang Van Halen, Brad Wilk, Pat Wilson, and more to be announced. Chevy Metal will also perform.
The Foo Fighters will also hold the same tribute show at Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday, September 3, with the lineup previously announced this morning. The band had concerts at Banc of California Stadium scheduled to take place before Taylor Hawkins' passing.
Tickets to see the Foo Fighters and their guests play at The Kia Forum will go on sale on Friday, June 17, at 9 a.m. via Ticketmaster for $99 to $200 each plus service fees. There will be a presale on Thursday, June 16, at 9 a.m. via a unique password sent to fans via e-mail. The Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert will benefit charities in the US and UK chosen by the Hawkins family. Beneficiaries and further details will be announced shortly.
