Another great festival is coming to Brookside at the Rose Bowl next year! This time it's This Ain't No Picnic taking place on Saturday, August 27, 2022, and Sunday, August 28, 2022. Some of the acts scheduled to perform at the Pasadena-based music festival include headliners The Strokes and LCD Soundsystem. Also on the festival bill are Courtney Barnett, Phoebe Bridgers, Beach House, Circle Jerks, Deafheaven, Descendents, Four Tet + Floating Points, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Honey Dijon, IDLES, Jungle, Kaytranada, King Woman, LeTigre, Nicki Nicole, Kelly Lee Owens, Genesis Owusu, Caroline Polachek, Slowthai, Jorja Smith, Sparks, Earl Sweatshirt, Tinashe, Turnstile, Mike Watt, Wet Leg, Ying Yang Twins, Yves Tumor, and many more. The Despacio tent (courtesy of LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and 2ManyDJs) will also be returning to Southern California and set to party all weekend long.

Tickets for this all-ages music festival will go on sale Thursday, December 9, at 2 p.m. via the festival ticketing site with tiered pricing starting at $299 to $349 each plus service fees for general admission, $799 each plus service fees for VIP (Includes a GA parking pass), and $1,199 each plus service fees for Clubhouse (Which includes a special upfront stage viewing area and preferred Clubhouse parking). Either VIP option grants you everything a GA ticket provides, plus dedicated VIP entry, access to a VIP area adjacent to the main stage, air-conditioned restrooms, additional shade and seating areas, exclusive food & beverage vendors. Clubhouse passes also include a welcome tote bag with specialty items, festival concierge service, a complimentary happy hour from 3-5 p.m., curated cocktails, complimentary snacks, and bottled water all day, exterior patio access, culinary passed hors d'oeuvres from celebrated L.A. chefs, complimentary wi-fi, and complimentary lockers to store your belongings. There is an 8 pass limit per household. Payment plans for tickets start at 25% down per order plus 3 equal monthly payments or $49 down per order plus 3 equal monthly payments to secure your tickets during the festival presale/onsale.
