ArcadeFireGrammys

After a roller coaster ride for fans of Arcade Fire trying to get tickets to their "secret show" here in Los Angeles just got their worlds rocked a little more with the much deserved Grammy win tonight for "Album of the Year", beating out Eminem, Katy Perry, Lady Antebellum and Lady Gaga.

Arcade Fire had earlier lost to The Black Keys for "Best Alternative Album", then shocked most viewers unfamiliar with the band with a surprise win for the biggest award of the night over the mainstream Grammy favorites. The win was right after Arcade Fire played "Month of May" live off of their Grammy-winning album, The Suburbs. Win Butler told the audience that "We're going to play another song because we like music" before playing "Ready To Start". If you haven't caught the Arcade Fire performance or surprise win, be sure to tune in tonight on CBS for the tape delay coverage. No other local Arcade Fire dates remain except for their headlining appearance at Coachella on Saturday, April 16 but we wouldn't be surprised at another victory lap date here in Los Angeles. Perhaps the Hollywood Bowl again? Who knows, but we want to congratulate Arcade Fire and for them to enjoy their big Grammy win (Video of their reaction at the jump)!

TICKETS: April 16th: Coachella w/ Arcade Fire at the Empire Polo Club (TICKETS NO LONGER AVAILABLE)
