Saturday, April 19 is National Record Store Day, and Long Beach record store Fingerprints will be celebrating with a host of events, including an in-store performance with Los Angeles favorites Silversun Pickups! The bill includes an in-store signing by Rob Halford of Judas Priest and now Fight at 4pm and in-store performances by Limbeck at 6:30pm and Silversun Pickups at 8pm.

Music club members can get wristbands starting Friday, April 18, at 11am, and the other half of the allotment will be released Saturday morning. Unfortunately, you will have to choose between the two performances unless you score an all-day pass. An all-day pass can be won by emailing Fingerprints one reason why you believe it is important to support independent businesses.

Fingerprints has lots of freebies and other goodies to give out or sell that day, so be sure to support your local record store! AND the Long Beach store also will be giving away 40 tickets to the Portishead rehearsal show to the first 40 people who preorder the new album Third. That contest starts Saturday, April 19, at 11am. The preorder limit is two records per person. The show will take place in downtown L.A. from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, April 24.
